Hummock Pond Rd Abatement and Demolition

This was a turn key project consisting of asbestos abatement and structural demolition of two buildings for the town of Nantucket: A 2-story residence and a 1-story equipment garage.

Abatement consisted of removal of asbestos containing sheetrock / joint compound, flooring finishes, and transite paneling under negative air containment, removal of exterior windows within an exterior regulated area, and excavation and removal of asbestos cement pipe throughout the site.

In addition to demolition of the structures and their foundations, Apex was responsible for fence installation, erosion control measures, site clearing and grubbing, and utility disconnects.
